Working with the financial Services Resolution and Compensation Unit (the ‘RCU’) will give you a unique opportunity to take part in guiding financial stability policy and frameworks in Gibraltar. This well-established unit is responsible for the day running of Gibraltar’s Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Bank Resolution Framework.
Reporting to the Head of the RCU the successful candidate will;
Assist in the day-to-day regulatory requirements of the Unit.
Continue to develop Deposit Guarantee Scheme and Bank Resolution frameworks.
Support the preparation of robust resolution plans for covered institutions.
Assist in protecting and enhancing public confidence in Gibraltar’s financial system’s stability.
Work in a collaborative manner with industry partners acting as a point of contact for the Unit.
Build strong relationships with the Chairman of the Unit’s governing Committee (the FSRCC), Government of Gibraltar, local banking industry and international peer organisations.
Provide strong leadership and decision making whilst demonstrating appropriate levels of care for people.
Have the ability to take ownership and deliver projects in a timely manner.
Have at least 5 years’ experience in credit institutions, regulatory roles or more broadly within financial services.
